Apex Industrial Analytics, LLC — Data & Privacy Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026 | Last Updated: May 25, 2026
Apex Industrial Analytics, LLC ("Apex," "we," "us," or "our") compiles and
licenses plant-level manufacturing performance benchmarks to industrial firms,
suppliers, and analysts. This Policy describes how we collect, use, store,
share, and sell manufacturing operations data. Because these datasets describe
the operational performance of commercial facilities rather than individuals,
they contain no personal data.
1. Scope and Subjects
This Policy applies to operational and financial metrics reported at the level
of manufacturing companies and their plants across multiple countries and
regions. The records describe organizations and facilities, not natural persons.
As no personal data of individuals is processed, consumer-privacy regimes such
as the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and the General Data Protection
Regulation ("GDPR") do not apply to these datasets.
2. Information We Collect
Facility identifiers — company name, plant ID, plant
name, sector, region, and country
Production and efficiency metrics — output, OEE,
availability, performance, quality, yield, and scrap/rework rates
Labor and maintenance metrics — headcount, labor hours,
overtime, MTBF/MTTR, and maintenance events (aggregate, non-personal)
Cost, revenue, and safety metrics — production cost,
revenue, gross margin, and recordable-incident rates
These datasets contain no employee names, contact details, or other personal
identifiers. Headcount and labor figures are reported only as facility-level
aggregates.
3. How We Use Information
To build and license manufacturing performance benchmarks
To provide comparative analytics and industry research
To validate and improve data accuracy and completeness
To meet legal, contractual, and confidentiality obligations
4. Data Storage
Storage: Storage of this information is permitted. Data is held
in secure cloud infrastructure. Because facilities span multiple countries,
records may be stored and processed in more than one jurisdiction, subject to
the confidentiality terms of our data-contributor agreements.
5. Sharing of Information
Sharing: Sharing of this information with third parties is
permitted. We share benchmark datasets with licensed customers, analytics
partners, and service providers under contract. Contributor-identifying details
may be aggregated or anonymized where required by our agreements.
6. Sale of Information
Sale: Sale of this information is permitted. Apex licenses and
sells manufacturing benchmark datasets to commercial buyers, and tokenized data
assets derived from these datasets may be sold, licensed, or transferred on
authorized data marketplaces.
7. Data Localization
Certain contributor agreements or national regulations may restrict where
specific facility data can be stored or transferred. Where such restrictions
apply, Apex honors them and configures storage and processing accordingly.
Absent such a restriction, no data-localization requirement applies to these
datasets.
8. Confidentiality
Facility-level data is treated as commercially confidential. Access is limited
to authorized personnel and licensees bound by confidentiality obligations.
9. Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards,
including encryption in transit, access controls, and periodic audits.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time; the "Last Updated" date reflects
the most recent revision.
